Job description

Hiring Automotive Technicians $70,000 - $100,000 a year

Capitol City Ford Greenfield is immediately looking for a service technician willing to learn from several master tech mentors.

Capitol City Ford Greenfield, just a short drive from Indy, is the newest store added to our Bob Thomas Dealerships family.  Being part of a long standing dealership group can offer you so many opportunities. We pay you to continue your training and increase your flat rate as you increase your abilities. Our dealerships have been part of Indiana for almost 40 years, giving our employees a real career path.  Most of our employees & managers are long standing who have been promoted within our group.

  • Technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders on vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Ford standards
  • Automotive technicians diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems to specification
  • Mechanics provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
  • Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
