Job description

Paulโ€™s Auto Restoration of NY Inc. and Paulโ€™s 4x4 Service & Restoration are expanding and looking for a highly organized Shop Maintenance Technician to help keep our busy restoration facility operating efficiently.
Our shop supports 30 employees and 50+ active restoration and service projects, including classic cars, Broncos, Blazers, and high-end restorations. This role is critical to keeping the facility clean, organized, and running smoothly.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in organization, cleanliness, and supporting a high-performance team.

Key Responsibilities
Shop & Facility Maintenance
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
  • Keep shop floors clean and safe
  • Perform basic building maintenance and minor repairs
  • Change shop filters and maintain shop equipment
  • Maintain blasting tanks and related equipment
  • Manage garbage bins, waste removal, and scrap metal areas
  • Maintain dumpster and waste areas
Parts Organization & Inventory
  • Store, label, and organize customer parts
  • Maintain parts storage areas and parts organization
  • Label, inventory, and track parts
  • Assist technicians with parts retrieval and returns
  • Support parts department organization and workflow
Shop Operations Support
  • Assist the paint shop with shop support tasks
  • Assist technicians as needed with shop workflow
  • Assist Parts Manager and Service Writers with shop support
  • Maintain organized work areas and safe walkways
  • Support overall shop workflow efficiency
Exterior & Yard Maintenance
  • Maintain yard and exterior shop areas
  • Keep loading and storage areas organized
  • Operate forklift when needed
Qualifications
  • Clean valid driver's license
  • Forklift experience preferred
