Main Street Auto is seeking a highly motivated Business Development professional to join our team! We are seeking candidates for the following locations: Indiana. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying and approaching auto repair shops that are potential acquisition targets throughout their assisted territory. The Business Development Specialist will manage Main Street Auto's relationships with shop owners from the initial meetings through the closings of the acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with owners of auto repair shops. The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify auto repair shops as potential acquisition targets
  • Approach owners of auto repair shops to discuss potentially selling their shop to Main Street Auto
  • Manage relationships with potential acquisition targets and serve as their point of contact with Main Street Auto
  • Negotiate deals with auto repair shop owners
  • Work closely with shop owners to coordinate and manage the acquisition process from start to finish
  • Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision-makers
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
  • Develop market strategies by researching lists of high-potential prospects
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • 3+ years' of sales or account management experience (proven track record of successful business development or sales)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
