Our Auto value store of Cheboygan, MIย is currently seeking an experienced person for a Full-Time local Counter Sales position / with the grit and drive to quickly move into a Manager trainee. This is an in-store sales/customer service position with many training opportunities for advancement.

**Automotive experience and or knowledge is requiredย for a minimum of 3 years.**

Job Description:

A Counter Sales position is the front line sales positions for all of our Auto-Wares Company Stores. We are looking for energized personalities with outstanding communication skills. Planning for your success, Auto Wares arms all Counter persons with multiple training opportunities and other tools to ensure that they are providing the best service to our customers.

Responsible for store customer service through:

  • Provide professionalism and leadership by example by following all tools available
  • Insure store is opened and closed at published hours
  • Customer Satisfaction: Attitude and Focus
  • Manage location cleanliness, store security and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Interest in Continuous Education in Auto Care
  • Drive to Capture and Complete all Sales
  • Ability to Multi Task and Operate Computer Cash Systems
  • Outstanding Communication with Customer Service Follow-Up
  • Handle Yourself as a Professional and Set an Example
  • Ability to Operate Computer Systems
  • Always Informing the Customer What You Can Do For Them

Job Requirements:

  • REPREVIOUS EXPERIENCEย in the automotive aftermarket fieldย 
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License
    • No major violations
    • No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
    • No more than one at-fault accident
  • Must be at Least 18 Years of Age
  • Pass Physical & Drug Screen
  • Able to lift and Carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms
