Summary
The PIO Installer is responsible for installing port installed accessories on new vehicles. Performance and efficiency of each installation is reviewed, analyzed and measured for continuous improvement. Individual must be able to work at a fast pace and be flexible if operation plan changes. Must be open to overtime when needed.
Compensation
$25.14 per hour
Responsibilities
Reach daily objective goals set by management.
Efficient and trained in all port installed accessory installations.
Mechanically inclined and ability to operate a wide range of hand tools associated with auto part installations.
Must adhere to all Glovis company procedures and policies with an emphasis on safety.
Record keeping
Other duties as assigned.

Skills
  • Mechanically inclined and ability to operate a wide range of hand tools associated with auto part installation Required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication Required
  • Employees assigned to vehicle processing and accessory installation functions that utilize English-only client work orders must be able to read and understand English-language instructions and documentation necessary to safely and accurately complete assigned tasks
  • Excellent internal customer service Required
  • Ability to work efficiently as a team and also unsupervised Required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume vehicle logistics or production environment Required

Education & Experience
  • H.S Diploma/G.E.D Required
  • 1 year experience in Auto Part Installations Preferred
  • Valid state driver's license Required

Physical Requirements
  • Will be operating heavy machinery such as Auto Lift
  • Constant use of hand/grasping- for product and hand tools
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop for 5+ hours per day
  • Drive, reach over shoulder, kneel, balance, push, pull, squat, crouch 3-5 hours per day
  • Seldom sit
  • Lift and carry up to 50lbs occasionally
