Job Description

    Cooper Auto Group is accepting applications for an experienced automotive retail sales manager at one of it's three franchise dealerships in Shawnee, OK. As a Desk Manager, you’ll play a vital role in driving sales performance, coaching and motivating team, and ensuring exceptional customer experience. You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily dealership operations, developing effective sales strategies, and maintaining a positive, high-energy environment.

    • Recruit, train and retain top sales talent. Set measurable performance standards.
    • Understand the market and develop strategies for acquiring, managing and moving appropriate inventory. 
    • Manage the sales process from start to finish to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationship with fixed operations department. Understand fixed operations and reconditioning center processes.
    • Establish goals and lead department to consistently surpass goals.
    • Empower employees to achieve maximum performance.
    • Attend sales manager meetings
    Qualifications
    • Possess proven leadership and management tangible and intangible skills to train, develop and retain top talent. Previous automotive retail sales manager experience required.
    • Professional appearance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Be able to present orally to a public audience.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Proven customer service skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Experience with CDK, Reverse Risk a plus.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
