The home inspection Team at A Better Look Home Inspections is looking to add an inspector to the Team!

A Better Look has been in business since 2007. Our company culture is to provide the very best home inspection possible to our customers. Our role is to educate our clients about their homes and the operating systems within the home. Our home inspectors use the latest tools and technology available to provide customized reports that are clear and concise and easy to understand. We stand committed to provide knowledgeable inspections based on integrity and first-rate customer service.

Our business has continued to grow. We are looking for professional, self-starters who are looking for a chance to grow with us. We are a fast-paced company with a strong reputation for experienced, dedicated inspectors who prefer quality over quantity and customer service that stands above the others.

Your experience and qualifications will determine your starting pay scale.

Our expectations will be that you perform 4-7 inspections per week; but the real estate market will dictate the work load.

Job Requirements:

  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Must understand the importance of quality and consistent customer service. Must love working with people
  • Have a professional knowledge of residential home systems and components
  • Prefer some residential construction experience
  • Must add a resume and state in your resume your home knowledge or experience
  • Proficient computer skills- Microsoft Word
  • Membership in ASHI, INTERNATCHI or CREIA required
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and great listening skills
  • Have the ability to or willingness to learn to perform sewer camera inspections
  • Must have the aptitude and mental ability to problem solve and conduct professional conversations with real estate agents and customers
  • Must have a great attitude, good presence and energy
  • Must have Integrity and a strong work ethic. Be punctual and have the ability to work unsupervised
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Must be willing to travel as far as Indio-Palm Desert, Chula Vista-San Diego, Huntington Beach-South-down the coast, the High Desert, and the majority of the Inland Empire
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl space, enter attics as well as stand for long periods of time
  • Must have the ability to pass all employment screenings and a technical knowledge exam
  • Will be required to authorize background and driving checks
  • Must be available and willing to work some evenings and some weekends
