Job description

  1. Automotive Sales Manager

Our dealership is looking for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager, with a proven track record. Previous automotive sales experience is required, and automotive management is preferred. Applicants must be high energy, personable individuals with a professional appearance and strong customer relations skills! This is an excellent opportunity for those with sales management experience to further their careers with one of the areaโ€™s fastest growing Dealer Groups! This position is the next step to becoming a general Sales manager! Must have experience working in high volume stores!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the performance of sales associates
  • Supervise salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership
  • Meeting with vehicle sales consultants to implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits.
  • Hiring and monitoring the performance of sales consultants
  • Monitor and analyze salespeople's performances and assist salespeople in closing deals
  • Working directly with the general manager on making recommendations on both short and long-range advertising plans, sales promotions, staffing needs, lease promotions and compensation plans.
  • Work with business manager in structuring deal to maximize revenue
  • Communicate with salespeople to ensure that dealership policies are understood
  • Realize monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals and objectives for the department
  • Auditing all appraisals of trade-in vehicles.
  • Know and understand the federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales
