Summary:
Seeking an experienced electrical engineering professional with 5โ15 years of experience to lead the design and project management of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, and educational facilities. The role involves managing multi-disciplinary projects, overseeing electrical system design, ensuring code compliance, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include designing power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and control systems while performing quality reviews and field/site investigations. A strong background in electrical design, project leadership, and regulatory compliance is essential.
Job Requirements:
- Mandatory: 5โ15 years of electrical design experience with expertise in power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and control systems.
- Lead electrical components of multi-disciplinary projects, including project scheduling, budgeting, client communication, team coordination, and quality control reviews.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IBC, IECC, and NFPA codes while conducting site visits, field investigations, and technical problem-solving.
Job Qualifications:
- Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and PE License (or ability to obtain one).
- Strong project management, leadership, communication, and technical writing skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
