Automotive Technician

Elliott's Auto Electric | Phoenix, AZ

Full-Time | $30–$40/hour Flat Rate

Elliott's Auto Electric is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team in Phoenix, Arizona. We're looking for a reliable, skilled technician with strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic abilities who can accurately identify vehicle concerns and perform quality repairs.

If you have 3–5 years of automotive repair experience, enjoy troubleshooting challenging vehicle issues, and are comfortable working with modern diagnostic equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

Pay & Schedule

  • Flat-rate pay: Approximately $30–$40 per hour
  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of customer vehicles
  • Identify electrical and mechanical malfunctions using modern diagnostic scanners and equipment
  • Diagnose engine and transmission issues
  • Remove and replace engines and transmissions
  • Diagnose and repair differential-related issues
  • Diagnose automotive air conditioning systems
  • Read and interpret automotive wiring diagrams
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate clearly and professionally regarding vehicle concerns and repairs

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
  • Strong automotive mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Experience diagnosing engine and transmission concerns
  • Experience with engine, transmission, and differential removal and replacement
  • Knowledge of automotive air conditioning system diagnostics
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
  • Experience using modern automotive diagnostic scanners and tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
