Dealership service shops rely on drivers to move cars in and out of service bays and keep vehicle lots neat, and you may move units to create new displays. Larger automotive groups may require you to drive a courtesy shuttle between dealerships or around the lot.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Auto Dealership Driver, and why are they important?

Drive for a Leader in Auto Transportation – Accelerated Services LLC

Join a team that delivers excellence across the nation.

Accelerated Services LLC, established in 1999, was built with a bold vision: to become a logistics provider unequaled in the industry—powered by a dedicated team of experienced staff and professional drivers. Today, we are a premier name in automotive transport, serving major manufacturers, dealerships, auctions, car rental agencies, and direct consumers nationwide.

Contract Driver Overview

Accelerated Services LLC is seeking experienced Class A CDL, 9-Car Haul Contract Drivers with proven experience to join our growing fleet. This position is ideal for safety-focused, high-performing drivers who take pride in delivering vehicles efficiently and damage-free.

We offer 1099 independent contractor opportunities for drivers who are motivated to maximize their earning potential and control over their business. In addition, Accelerated provides a clear path to truck ownership through our lease-purchase program, giving drivers the opportunity to transition to owner-operator with no money down and access to well-maintained, late-model equipment.

Whether you're looking to grow your income or build long-term ownership in the auto transport industry, Accelerated supports your success every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using a 9-car hauling tractor and trailer. We are a four-strap company.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all equipment through Motive
  • Ensure all vehicles are handled with care to minimize individual driver damage claims
  • Meet a minimum of 10,000 miles per month and at least $36,000 in truck's gross per month
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding loads, delays, and all delivery updates
  • Maintain all equipment according to DOT, warranty, and company policies
  • Utilize company technology and apps, including but not limited to: Magnus, Motive, Wex Card Control, FleetioGo, and so on.
  • Deliver exceptional service to customers at dealerships, auctions, and all other locations

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Class A OTR experience
  • 2 years of verifiable 9-car hauling experience
  • Clean driving records and strong safety history
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screenings
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to on-time, damage-free deliveries

Why Drive with Accelerated Services?

  • Support new OEM, auction, rental, and other freight streams out of roughly 70 nationwide locations, providing drivers with broad freight access and consistent load opportunities. We are contracted with all but one major manufacturer for new freight movements.
  • $2,500 sign-on bonus
  • No money down for the lease-purchase program drivers looking for truck ownership.
  • Earn 82% of the truck's gross revenue with settlements paid twice per month
  • Join a fleet of over 500 owner operators averaging $6,000 in net pay per settlement
  • Receive fuel discounts averaging $0.60 per gallon, with savings reaching up to $1.10 per gallon through our large volume discounts with fuel providers
  • Competitive fuel surcharge rates on OEM freight
  • Earn a $2,500 referral bonus for every driver referred—no cap on earning
  • Safety and claims bonus programs available to reward strong, safe performances
  • Competitive health insurance and 401k options through our partner at NAWP
  • Save up to $200 per tire purchased through our national tire accounts
  • Equipment averages about 3 years old or newer
  • Coming Soon: Accelerated Services' Podcast for drivers to stay connected
  • 18 staffed locations providing hands-on support for yard shuttling, truck inspections, and day-to-day driver assistance to keep drivers moving efficiently.
  • Access to discounted lodging nationwide through our national hotel accounts
  • 24-hour roadside assistance through Michelin On-Call and FYX national accounts
  • Repair service discounts of up to 25% in certain areas through our national accounts

Drive With Us – Grow with Us

We are always looking for qualified independent contract drivers to join our team. Whether you want to bring your own 9-car equipment onboard or join our lease purchase program, we have a place for business-minded drivers like you! Accelerated has helped over 100 drivers successfully purchase their own trucks through our Lease Purchase Program. This path is designed for disciplined drivers who want to build long-term wealth, increase earning potential, and ultimately own an income

producing asset—by staying consistent with meeting minimum mileage and revenue requirements. Is this the kind of opportunity you're looking for?
