Job description

Does the potential to earn up to $75,000+ sound good? Reliable Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our growing team. We offer GREAT benefits and an excellent working atmosphere. 

This position is responsible for providing customers with automotive repair estimates and relaying this information to collision technicians to ensure the unit is repaired correctly and in a timely manner. Pay will be based on experience

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare reports in a timely and efficient manner 
  • Obtain all work orders and signatures when needed 
  • Review all documentation and billing to ensure accuracy
  • Review the completed vehicle to check quality and thoroughness
  • Thoroughly listen to customers and make every effort to satisfy their needs
  • Effectively communicate with customers, service advisors, technicians, parts associates, collision manager, and any other store associate or vendor on a daily basis

Skills/Experience: 

  • Must have exceptional customer service
  • Must have a friendly and upbeat attitude
  • Must have great time management skills
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must be punctual
  • GM ASE/ICAR certification is a plus

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be qualified to write estimates and have proven experience
  • Must have a good knowledge of sheet metal and bodywork 
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record 
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening 
  • Must be able to pass background checks
