Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team at Fix Auto Houston. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. As an Auto Body Technician, you will use your knowledge of automotive repair and your attention to detail to provide exceptional service to our customers and maintain our high standards of quality. We have multiple Insurance DRP, Fleet, and business relationships. We also have multiple OE, EV, Aluminum, and Fleet Certifications.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, commission-only position with a competitive pay range of $50,000 to $150,000 per year, paid on a weekly basis. In addition to your base pay, additional incentives may be available based on performance. Responsibilities:
โ€ข Perform high-quality auto body repairs including frame straightening, panel replacement, and dent repair
โ€ข Perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications
โ€ข Use hand and power tools, including welding & frame equipment, to complete repairs
โ€ข Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment at all times
โ€ข Communicate with staff regarding repair plans and timelines
โ€ข Maintain a clean and organized work area and participate in daily maintenance activities
โ€ข Keep up to date with industry advancements and participate in training and development programs as needed
Requirements:
โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent
โ€ข Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Auto Body Technician
โ€ข Solid knowledge of auto body repair techniques, tools, and equipment
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
โ€ข Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and specifications
โ€ข Excellent time management and organizational skills
โ€ข Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards is a plus
