Position Summary: Drive Your Career Forward with iCrash Collision!

The Auto Body Detailer at iCrash Collision is responsible for delivering the final level of quality and presentation on repaired vehicles before they are returned to customers. This position performs thorough interior and exterior detailing, including washing, cleaning, vacuuming, polishing, and removing repair-related dust, residue, and debris to ensure each vehicle meets iCrash Collision’s quality standards.

The Detailer works closely with production and repair team members to support an efficient vehicle delivery process and serves as an important final checkpoint before customer delivery. The role requires strong attention to detail, pride in workmanship, the ability to safely handle a variety of vehicles—including large and specialty vehicles—and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Success in this position means consistently preparing vehicles that are clean, professional, delivery-ready, and reflective of the quality customers expect from iCrash Collision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Detailing:
    Perform comprehensive interior and exterior detailing of vehicles following collision repairs, including washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and removing dust and debris.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Conduct thorough inspections to identify any remaining dirt, damage, or imperfections, ensuring all vehicles meet Kniesel's Collision's high-quality standards before delivery.
  • Cosmetic Touch-Ups:
    To improve the vehicle's overall appearance, perform minor cosmetic enhancements such as paint touch-ups, headlight polishing, and minor blemish correction.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    Collaborate with team members to ensure vehicles are returned to customers in pristine condition, contributing to an exceptional customer experience.
  • Work Area Maintenance:
    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe detailing area, and ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working condition.
  • Technical Assistance:
    Support repair technicians with tasks such as masking, taping, and sanding during vehicle prep work.
  • Inventory Management:
    Monitor and replenish detailing supplies and tools to ensure adequate stock is always available.
  • Other Duties as Assigned:
    Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Production Manager or General Manager.
  • Prior experience in automotive detailing or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive cleaning products and procedures.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Physical capability to stand, kneel, bend for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
