Outside Sales Representative - Greensboro Auto Auction

About Us We are a leading independent auto auction committed to providing dealers, consignors, and commercial clients with outstanding service, strong results, and trusted relationships. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our presence in the automotive remarketing industry.

Position Overview The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business and nurturing existing client relationships within the auto auction space. This role focuses on driving vehicle consignment, promoting our auction services, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and maintain a strong network of dealerships, financial institutions, fleet companies, and other consignors.
  • Identify sales opportunities and promote auction services to meet client needs.
  • Maintain consistent communication with current and prospective clients, ensuring excellent customer service and long-term relationships.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of our services, tailored to client requirements.
  • Resolve client concerns and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity reports including calls, visits, forecasts, and client feedback.
  • Keep clients informed of upcoming auctions, promotions, and service enhancements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business growth.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven track record in sales, ideally within the automotive, auto auction, or remarketing industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-first mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience preferred.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field; OR
  • 2+ years of relevant sales experience (auto industry background strongly preferred).

Other Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel within assigned territory.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
