Job description

We are seeking a full-time Mobile Service Technician (SCBA) Self-contained breathing apparatus, who resides in Phoenix. You will be required to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on firefighting equipment.

This is a field-based role for someone with a mechanical background. If you have any previous experience working on HVAC systems, engine repair, firefighting equipment, hydraulics, cabling, vehicles or electrical systems, please apply today! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Perform routine inspections and functional checks of SCBA equipment

-         Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs

-         Test SCBA units (pressure, airflow, and leak testing) to ensure compliance

-         Maintain detailed service records and documentation

-         Calibrate and adjust equipment for accuracy and safety

-         Train end-users on proper use and maintenance of SCBA equipment

JOB REQUIREMENTS

-         High school diploma or equivalent

-         Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician (preferred)

-         Prior experience servicing SCBA equipment (highly desirable but not required)

-         Mechanical background with experience in one or more of the following:

- HVAC systems, Small engine repair, Firefighting equipment, Hydraulics, Cabling

- Vehicles or electrical systems

-         Knowledge of NFPA standards and SCBA regulations (preferred)

-         Familiarity with 3M/Scott SCBA equipment (preferred)

-         Strong computer skills

-         Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving ability

-         Excellent communication and customer service skills

-         Valid Driver’s License (required)

-         REAL-ID required for access to federal sites

-         Willingness to travel (100% travel required)

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
