Position Summary

The HVAC Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC systems safely, efficiently, and professionally. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality work, strong customer service, and solving problems in the field.

This is not strictly a service-only position. As an HVAC Technician, you will also support the Lead Installer, perform high-quality HVAC installations, and deliver excellent service to homeowners. Our install department is consistently booked, creating immediate earning opportunities for experienced technicians who want to work with a strong team and be compensated based on performance.

What You’ll Do

· Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and equipment

· Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections

· Communicate repair recommendations and solutions clearly with customers

· Complete service calls safely, efficiently, and accurately

· Maintain proper documentation, invoices, and service records

· Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment

· Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies

· Support the Lead Installer with system change-outs, major repairs, and installation work

· Install residential HVAC systems and equipment

· Replace condensers, air handlers, and ductwork

· Work with high-end communicating HVAC systems, smart equipment, and advanced system controls

· Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and code requirements

· Maintain clean and organized job sites

· Communicate clearly with homeowners during installations

· Ensure installation work is completed safely and efficiently

Required Qualifications

· EPA Certification

· Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable under company and commercial auto insurance requirements

· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Experience installing residential HVAC systems

· Comfortable working with communicating and smart HVAC systems

· Strong understanding of installation procedures and equipment

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to lift equipment and work in outdoor conditions or confined spaces

· Professional appearance and positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

· Residential and/or commercial HVAC experience

· ServiceTitan experience

· Experience with maintenance agreements and upselling

· Experience in fast-paced service environments

· Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians

· Highly motivated and driven

· Proud of producing clean, professional installations

· Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
