As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), helping them grow social skills, build confidence, and thrive, while supporting their families along the way with personalized care.

Pay: $21 - $26 / hour
*pay based on experience

Sign-On Bonus: $500 sign-on bonus paid at your 6-month anniversary.

Schedule: This role is primarily part‑time, with the opportunity for additional hours as client schedules allow. Full‑time hours are not guaranteed.
*Part-time availability requirements: We ask for at least 4 weekday afternoons (Mon – Fri, 2:30 – 6:30 pm) OR 3 weekday afternoons plus 1 weekend morning / mid-day shift.

Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one with children using ABA therapy techniques

  • Help build communication, social, and daily living skills

  • Create a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment

  • Track progress and celebrate milestones

  • Use simple data tools to measure growth and improvement

  • Collaborate with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support each child’s personalized plan

  • Support and communicate with families

  • Complete session notes and required documentation

Required Skills
  • Must have proof of GED or High School Diploma
  • Experience working with children
  • Exposure to children/adults with Autism  
  • Must reside in Orange County
  • Ability to work in-clinic, in-school, and in-home settings  
  • Must be willing to drive 25 miles (average of 30 minutes) from the office 
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to be active and sit on the ground for long periods of time
  • Willing to complete a TB test and Background screening
  • RBT certification preferred  
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Korean preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or working towards education in Child Development, Psychology, or related field preferred
