Solutions Behavioral Healthcare Professionals ("Solutions") is a dynamic and thriving organization that provides mental health and human services. We have a state of the art autism program and are proud to offer our clients and families the best care. We are seeking applicants for our Behavior Interventionist positions. WHAT DOES THE JOB LOOK LIKE?
This position provides intensive one-to-one and group therapy to children with autism under our Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention program. Children with autism tend to learn in a unique way. For that reason, consistency is highly important. We use a model of intervention that is considered best practice, and closely oversee programming to improve learning efficiencies and achieve outcomes that are important to families. Prior to working independently, extensive training is provided to the staff, with ongoing direct supervision following the development of these skills. We provide training to our staff during their first few months of employment to achieve specialized certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This position works primarily at Solutions' developmental clinic, though some may occur in-home or other community settings.
Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention is utilized to assist children with autism learn language, cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor and communication development. Individual treatment plans are developed and overseen by an assigned specialist. The Behavior Interventionist implements programming and records progress using advanced technology. This allows progress in treatment to be clearly visible.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Solutions is looking for someone who loves working with children! This position has 3 points of eligibility: 1) a college degree in a human service field; 2) currently in college in a human service area; or 3) not in college but has 2 years of experience in a human service field.
Behavioral Interventionist 5 requires, completed or be enrolled in an ABA master's program from an accredited college or university or completed a master's program in a human services field AND be enrolled in or have completed a required ABA graduate coursework from an accredited college or university. Finally, be ready to accumulate supervised practice hours for the purpose of board certification.
We need someone with good "people" skills, someone who is energetic, kind, and patient. An ideal candidate is someone who is willing to learn specialized intervention skills and to grow in their position. They would have the skills to work in a brisk clinic setting. They would strive towards cultural competence. The individual hired for this position must pass a criminal background check.
