Job description

Autism primary teacher provides specialized classroom instruction, develops Personal Learning Plan (PLP) reflected via Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and fosters academic and social skill development for students on the autism spectrum. Multi-integrated classroom.

Majority of students has a Behaviour therapist inside the classroom and assistant teacher.

  • Instruction: Design and deliver differentiated daily lessons tailored to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • PLP Management: Write, monitor, and update Individual Education Plans and track student progress data.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside general education teachers, therapists, and support staff.
  • Family Communication: Maintain regular contact with parents and guardians regarding student growth and behavioral goals
  • Should be able to hold 40 pounds.
  • Follow School (SFSE-ASE) classroom Daily routines
