About the Role

As a Principal SAP IBP Consultant, you will drive the delivery of complex SAP Integrated Business Planning and Supply Chain transformation programs. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, lead solution architecture, and guide clients through planning maturity uplift and business transformation. This senior leadership role combines strategic advisory, hands-on solution design, and delivery oversight across multiple industries.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead complex SAP IBP programs and planning transformations across multiple industries from pre-sales through to go-live and optimisation
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping planning strategy, operating model and solution roadmap
  • Own end-to-end solution architecture across IBP modules including Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP and Response (as required)
  • Lead high-impact workshops to define processes, confirm scope, and align business and technical stakeholders
  • Provide design authority across planning area design, master data approach, key figure modelling and integration strategy
  • Oversee delivery quality across the project lifecycle including governance, RAID management, testing strategy and cutover readiness
  • Lead and support pre-sales activities including discovery sessions, solution demonstrations, estimates, proposals and RFP responses

  • Multiple SAP IBP projects under your belt, including ownership of end-to-end outcomes across complex programs
  • Strong consulting leadership experience with proven ability to own outcomes across scope, timeline, quality and stakeholder expectations
  • Not just an IBP specialist — transferable Digital Supply Chain expertise highly regarded, such as Production, Digital Manufacturing, PP/DS, Procurement, Sales, or Warehousing
  • Proven capability in solution architecture, design governance and stakeholder management at senior levels
  • Strong understanding of integrated planning processes and planning maturity uplift (Demand, Supply, Inventory and S&OP)
  • Experience shaping integration and data strategies in collaboration with technical teams (e.g., CPI-DS/SDI or equivalent)
  • Pre-sales experience highly regarded including scoping, estimation, solution positioning and client presentations
  • SAP IBP certification and/or advanced SAP planning training highly regarded
  • If your background is primarily IBP-focused, a growth mindset and demonstrable ability to broaden across SAP Digital Supply Chain domains will be strongly valued
  • Passion for developing people, improving delivery standards and driving thought leadership in planning transformation

What we offer

  • Work with SAP's latest technologies on cloud such as S/4HANA, BTP and Joule
  • A flexible and supportive work environment including the ability to work from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand
  • Competitive remuneration and benefits including novated lease, birthday leave, salary packaging, wellbeing programme, additional purchased leave, and company-provided laptop
  • Comprehensive SAP training and certifications
  • Join a renowned organisation delivering projects to some of APAC's leading enterprises
