Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in the C programming language.
  • 3 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
  • Experience in implementing image processing pipelines and managing concurrency for mobile features.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience developing and debugging software for Android, RTOS, or custom embedded platforms.
  • Experience with optimizing systems with on-device computation units (e.g., GPU or NPU).
  • Experience with peer-peer (P2P) networking over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
  • Expertise in video and audio codecs (e.g., hardware or software).
  • Experience with profiling tools including perfetto and pprof.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you join our XR Power and Performance team. You will be instrumental in developing, optimizing, and deploying the systems of our AR/VR glasses. This is a unique opportunity to work on problems at the intersection of connectivity stacks, video compression, and perception models.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
