Job description

Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity to support early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a thriving preschool environment. Covering a maternity leave from February 15, 2027, through May 27, 2027, you will play an essential role at two vibrant educational centers serving children ages 3-5. Immerse yourself in a collaborative setting with a skilled SLP colleague, ensuring comprehensive support for students with a variety of speech and language challenges.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly in early intervention and/or school-based settings
  • Strong foundation in addressing articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and social-pragmatic communication needs
  • Familiarity with high-tech augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools
  • In-person service delivery only; experience with on-site program support is essential
  • Compassion, patience, and commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy to preschoolers with needs ranging from mild to severe
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote language and communication development
  • Address a wide spectrum of student needs, including articulation, language skills, fluency, pragmatic communication, and AAC
  • Document progress and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
