Auditing also often uncovers areas for operational improvement and risk management.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an auditor?

To thrive as an Auditor, you need strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles, typically supported by a degree in accounting or finance and often a CPA or similar certification. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and integrity are crucial soft skills that help build trust and facilitate clear reporting.
