Our Night Auditor is responsible for overnight Front Office operations, including guest service, auditing, and account balancing.  The Night Auditor ensures all daily financial transactions are accurately reconciled, reports are completed, and systems are prepared for the next business day. This role also supports guest needs during overnight hours, requiring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a guest-facing environment.

Schedule Details:

The Front Office Department operates seven days a week. You will be assigned to an eight-hour shift within the operating hours of 6 AM to 11 PM, which includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform nightly audit procedures to reconcile daily revenue, transactions, and guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reporting, ensuring issues are corrected and communicate appropriately.
  • Balance and verify all guest folios, accounts, and supporting documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Close out daily operations in the property management system and prepare systems for the next business day.
  • Generate and distribute daily reports, including revenue, occupancy, and audit summaries.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, including deposits and reconciliation of funds.
  • Prepare reports and documentation to support accounting and operational review.
  • Perform front desk duties, including guest checkin, checkout, and assisting with guest requests during overnight hours.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to guests, addressing questions, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the property during overnight hours, reporting any safety, security, or operational concerns to appropriate departments. 
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and security as needed to support overnight operations. 
  • Maintain organized records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company standards. 
  • Support other front office and operational functions as needed.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Associate's Degree or college diploma
  • 3+ Years Related Experience
  • 1+ Years of Supervisory experience
  • Prior front desk, night audit, or hospitality experience.
  • Experience in a resort, hotel, or timeshare environment. 
  • Familiarity with property management systems and reporting tools. 
  • Experience handling financial transactions or auditing processes. 
  • Bilingual Japanese language communication skills preferred.
