Job description

Position Overview:

Atlas Foundation Company is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our team in Rogers, MN. This is a full-time, fully onsite, entry-level position designed for an individual eager to build their accounting career in the construction industry. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, thrives in a multi-tasking environment, and is enthusiastic about supporting team members with daily and monthly workloads while learning about our industry.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable: Input vendor invoices into our accounting system and accurately match payables with processing payments for management approval.
  • Billing & Receivables: Generate and enter customer billings, review account details, and prepare and mail monthly customer statements.
  • Inventory Control: Track, reconcile, and log inventory data.
  • Expense Reconciliation: Review, categorized, and audit credit card transactions against receipts.
  • Financial Support: Assist the accounting and finance team with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
  • Cross-Company Collaboration: Manage accounting data entry across multiple internal entities.
  • Administrative Projects: Complete ad-hoc financial tasks and administrative projects as requested.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education/Experience: Associates degree in Accounting/Finance, current enrollment in a related degree program, or 1+ years of equivalent office administrative experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Software Knowledge: Prior exposure to accounting software packages is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to handle data entry with high accuracy and manage multiple moving parts simultaneously.
