Security Manager

The Security Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of site security operations for Hyve Solutions Singapore. This role will oversee physical security, access control systems, incident management, customer security compliance, and third-party security vendors to ensure the protection of employees, visitors, facilities, products, and confidential information. The role will partner closely with manufacturing operations, IT, EHS, Facilities, HR, and regional/global security teams to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet customer security expectations and audit requirements. This position is critical in supporting the build-up and operational readiness of the Singapore manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Operations & Risk Management Lead and manage day-to-day site security operations, including physical security, guard force management, visitor control, and incident response. Identify security risks and vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation plans to protect company assets and personnel. Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, standards, and emergency response plans. Conduct security investigations and support disciplinary or incident management activities when required. Ensure compliance with company policies, customer security requirements, and local Singapore regulations.
  • Customer & Audit Compliance Lead customer security audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with customer standards and industry requirements. Partner with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions. Support security-related compliance initiatives for manufacturing and data center customers.
  • Security Systems Management Manage and maintain site security systems, including: CCTV systems Access control systems Intruder alarm systems Visitor management systems Facial recognition/security technologies Coordinate with vendors and contractors on system maintenance, upgrades, and technical projects. Ensure all security systems are operating effectively and aligned with operational requirements.
  • Vendor & Team Management Manage third-party contracted security service providers and ensure service quality and performance expectations are met. Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to security personnel and vendors. Monitor security expenditures and recommend cost-effective improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Manufacturing, Facilities, IT, HR, EHS, and Operations teams to support business continuity and operational security needs. Support site expansion, operational ramp-up activities, and new facility readiness initiatives. Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and external agencies when necessary.
  • Training & Awareness Promote security awareness and best practices across the organization. Conduct employee security training and communication programs as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Professional certifications such as CPP, CSMP, PSP, or equivalent are an advantage.
  • Experience Minimum 5 years of security management experience in manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, or data center environments. Experience managing third-party security vendors or contracted guard services. Experience supporting customer audits and security compliance programs. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or startup/build-up environment is highly preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge Experience with security systems such as: CCTV systems (e.g., Milestone, Hanwha, XProtect) Access Control Systems (e.g., Lenel, CCure, Paxton) Intruder Alarm Systems Visitor Management Systems Security monitoring and incident reporting tools.
  • Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment capabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
