Job Title: Team Leader

Business: Regal Rexnord

Reports to: Production Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly- 1st shift

Position Summary

Opportunity for an onsite position responsible for leading a team of associates to success. Team Lead will be responsible for updating, maintaining and aligning aspects within the department. The Team Lead will be responsible for guiding the team to achieve specific goals. They will play an integral role in ensuring smooth operations, fostering a positive work environment, and driving 6s standards and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Updating, aligning, and maintaining Tier 1 boards, daily populating, and targets. Tracking and recording productivity on the hr x hr boards in a timely fashion.
  • Meeting regularly with direct supervisor for touchpoint meetings, tool box meetings,
  • Identifying and defining action items to close target gaps. Identifying gap of 6S expectation to actual and driving change.
  • Updating training matrix, facilitating 6s training to team, evaluating performance of associates on a 30, 60, 90 review standard with supervisors. Recording the information. Oversee training to identify gaps, then working with supervisors and management to engineer new processes for area.
  • Issuing daily job assignments. Keeping accurate record of daily input data.
  • Responsible for ensuring materials are at POU for Next S/U. Conducting regular audits of area looking for unidentified material. Ensuring Hold Tags area is reviewed daily and timely.
  • Responsible for turning in short order due to missing inventory to supervisor for accurate record keeping and tracking.
  • responsible for expedited orders.
  • responsible for scanning consumed material in Ultriva. Responsible for splitting and/or closing any nonstandard cards in Ultriva. Conducting regular card audits to ensure accuracy and tracking. Audit end of shift in Ultriva to ensure department accuracy.
  • Providing back up to supervisor duties and responsibilities.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned.

  • Team Lead must have knowledge and experience of area and processes and procedures relevant to the department.

  • Must have knowledge of Oracle processes and functions related to the department and corresponding departments.
  • Must have knowledge of Ultriva processes and functions related to the department and corresponding departments.
  • Must have machine PM knowledge related to department.
  • Mus have clear understanding of the importance associated with VDM, material management, OJT, Continuous improvement, and production processes.
  • Must have positive and encouraging mindset to create a positive team environment. Must have strong communication and leadership skills. Should have excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Exhibits excellent decision -making skills and takes a proactive approach in conflict resolution.
