EVENTS STAFF - CASUAL
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
To provide events support and assistance at the CHEER Community Center. Work will include setup, breakdown, clean up, fee collection, and provide additional help as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list represents the core duties and responsibilities of the position but is not exhaustive:
  1. Putting linens on tables and removing at end of event.
  2. Providing rolling carts to renters to bring set up materials in and for removing at end of event.
  3. Wash/dry/fold linens.
  4. Clear trash from tables as needed and put in bins.
  5. Collecting money at the door for events/ Check In.
  6. Putting goods in refrigerator and bringing it out as needed.
  7. Setting up and breaking down tables/other in lobby.
  8. Wiping down food tables at end of event.
  9. Sweeping Floors at end of event.
  10. Removing trash from restrooms-put in trash bins.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS amp; ABILITIES:
Minimum requirements:
  1. Good verbal communication and exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
  2. Basic math adding/subtracting, multiplying
  3. Ability to do light physical work such as pushing/pulling bending, stooping, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
  4. friendly and outgoing
  5. work independently or with light supervision
REPORTING: This position directly reports to the Hospitality and Events Director.
PRIMARY WORK LOCATION: CHEER Community Center, Georgetown.
WORK HOURS: 2-6 hour shifts that can include daytime, nights and weekends as needed.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Casual (as needed), non-Exempt. Less than 15 hours per week.
BENEFIT ELIGIBILITY: Paid time off -PTO based on hours worked.
