Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician with a background in electric motors and pumps to join our growing team in Hartford, CT.

This is a field-based position that combines hands-on technical work with customer interaction. You will travel to customer locations to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain critical industrial equipment while providing professional service and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, service, and repair electric motors and pump systems at customer locations
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in field environments

  • Document service work, parts used, findings, and recommendations

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and work from technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel locally or regionally as needed
