Under indirect supervision, sets up and operates broadcast equipment for live and recorded events. Assists with training other staff members on broadcast equipment and oversees live productions. Maintains equipment and assists with scheduling staff for events. Will supervise the work of others.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Inspects, troubleshoots, and performs preventive maintenance and a range of repairs to audio and video equipment.
- Receives requests for audio-visual production needs and assists with moving necessary equipment between venues.
- Operates video and audio equipment to broadcast live and recorded events.
- Maintains equipment inventory and assists with scheduling staff for events
- Consults, collaborates, and debriefs with supervisor regarding live and recorded events.
