Job description

Job Summary:
Merge IT is seeking an Audio Visual Technician for an enterprise-level client in Redmond, WA. The role involves providing on-site technical support for IT and AV infrastructure, ensuring premiere support for executive level customers during briefings, demos, and events.
Responsibilities:
• Provide premiere technical support for all briefings, demos, special events and internal meetings.
• Assist in creating, updating and adhering to procedural documents concerning logging, troubleshooting and repairing technical issues and problems.
• Monitoring and responding to email inquiries and support requests.
• Provide technical support for audio/visual equipment including but not limited to Crestron, Extron, Biamp, AV distribution and CMS systems.
• Provide technical support for servers and back-end network systems including but not limited to Windows servers, storage systems, switched networks and video content devices.
• Daily maintenance and testing of audio/visual systems, demo systems, back-end infrastructure and hallway interactive displays.
• Record all issues, customer requests, project work and support calls into the ticketing tool.
• Maintain the facility technology according to top client standards.
• Able to conduct self and resolve issues in a highly professional manner with appropriate decision-making skills based on the situation.
• Work cross functionally with other teams in areas of large events, IT support, AV support, data center support and other areas assigned by management.

Required:
• Prior in-person customer service experience
• 2-3 years of IT/AV work experience
• Ability to work on-site in Redmond, WA Monday – Friday
• Must be able to comply with dress code (business casual)
