Job Summary

The Multimedia Production Specialist produces high-quality video, photography, and audio content that supports Oshkosh Corporation's enterprise brand and communications priorities. Based at Global Headquarters, this position supports the complete production process-from planning and capturing content through editing, finishing, and delivery.

Video production and post-production are the primary responsibilities of this position. The specialist will also provide photography, podcast production, and social media content support. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled visual storyteller who can create polished corporate productions while also adapting content into effective formats for social media and other digital channels.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Produce and edit professional-quality video content for corporate communications, brand campaigns, employee communications, recruiting, leadership messaging, events, community relations, and other enterprise initiatives.
  • Collaborate with communications partners and internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, audiences, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist with pre-production planning, including creative concepts, scripts, storyboards, interview questions, shot lists, schedules, locations, and equipment needs.
  • Set up and operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, teleprompters, stabilizers, and related production equipment.
  • Film interviews, employee stories, products, facilities, events, leadership messages, and other corporate content.
  • Edit short- and long-form video using professional post-production software.
  • Perform color correction, audio cleanup and mixing, captioning, music selection, graphics integration, and basic motion-graphics work.
  • Prepare finished content in the appropriate dimensions, lengths, aspect ratios, codecs, and file formats for websites, social media, internal channels, presentations, and events.
  • Capture and edit professional photography for corporate communications, social media, recruiting, events, and brand initiatives.
  • Adapt professionally produced video and photography into short-form and platform-specific social media content.
  • Apply a working understanding of social platforms to ensure content is edited and formatted appropriately for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Support podcast and audio production, including equipment setup, recording, editing, sound enhancement, and creation of promotional clips.
  • Assist with livestreams, webinars, remote interviews, and other multimedia productions when needed.
  • Maintain an organized digital library of footage, photographs, audio, project files, releases, and completed assets.
  • Maintain production equipment and troubleshoot routine camera, lighting, audio, recording, storage, and editing issues.
  • Follow Oshkosh Corporation's brand, legal, safety, accessibility, and content-approval requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet established production deadlines.

MIMINUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in video production, digital media, communications, photography, film, marketing, or a related discipline-or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant professional, internship, freelance, academic, or volunteer production experience.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
  • Professional photography and photo-editing experience.
  • Experience recording and editing interviews, podcasts, and voiceovers.
  • Experience creating basic motion graphics, animated titles, and branded video elements.
  • Familiarity with livestreaming, teleprompters, remote-recording platforms, or webinar production.
  • Understanding of codecs, compression, frame rates, resolutions, aspect ratios, color management, and media storage.
  • Familiarity with captions, transcripts, alternative text, and digital accessibility practices.
  • Experience filming in corporate, industrial, manufacturing, or event environments.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong videography and video-editing abilities.
  • Working knowledge of professional or mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, and production equipment.
  • Proficiency with professional video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or an equivalent platform.
  • Understanding of composition, exposure, lighting, audio recording, color correction, and visual storytelling.
  • Familiarity with social media video formats and platform requirements.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to receive creative direction and revise work based on stakeholder feedback.

Pay Range:

$57,600.00 - $90,400.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
