Interns typically assist with setting up, operating, and maintaining AV systems for events, meetings, or productions. They may also learn about troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with event or production teams, and supporting the technical aspects of presentations. You'll likely gain hands-on experience with equipment like microphones, mixers, projectors, cameras, and editing software. The internship often provides opportunities to collaborate closely with technical staff, event coordinators, and sometimes clients, which helps build both technical and communication skills. This exposure prepares you for future roles in AV production, event management, or technical support.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an audio visual intern, and why are they important?

To excel as an Audio Visual Intern, you should have a basic understanding of audio and video equipment, troubleshooting skills, and often be pursuing or holding a degree in media, communications, or a related field.
