The Banquet Houseperson ensures seamless setup and execution of meetings and meal functions, maintaining a professional environment while promptly responding to guest needs. This role directly contributes to a positive and memorable event experience for all guests.
HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE
  • Complete all assigned work and follow instructions from supervisors or shift leaders.
  • Ensures that all water, amenities, audio-visual and breaks are in room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
  • Respond to guest requests for additional equipment and supplies, communicate applicable charges, and notify supervisors for accurate guest billing.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs professionally.
  • Set up and clean meeting and banquet function rooms in accordance with company and hotel standards.
  • Refresh meeting rooms during breaks by replenishing supplies, replacing linens and water service, and removing trash.
  • Assist with banquet meal service, event breakdown, and obtaining signed guest checks for proper front office posting.
  • Follow all safety procedures and energy conservation guidelines while performing assigned duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
