Job description

Are you passionate about theater production and want to gain hands-on experience with professional audio, visual, and lighting equipment? Lakeville Area Public Schools is looking for a Facility Use Auditorium Tech to join our team! This casual position offers a unique opportunity to support district and non-district events by working directly with our A/V equipment under the guidance of the Auditorium & Facilities Coordinator.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate theatrical lighting and sound equipment for live events
  • Assist with theater operations, including rigging systems, spotlights, and video projection
  • Set up and tear down equipment for events
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their technical needs are met
  • Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring a smooth and professional event experience
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, troubleshooting equipment as needed
