Job Summary
Data Center Construction - Electrical Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you'll report directly to the Director and VP in a client-facing role that requires building strong relationships both in and outside the office. You'll develop through hands-on experience, peer collaboration, and ongoing technical training.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
โ€ข Compliance with company, client, and project policies
โ€ข Job site safety and adherence to company national policies
โ€ข Generate estimates, review project proposals
โ€ข Establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
โ€ข Supervise project execution to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements
โ€ข Collaborate with the customer to clarify and meet expectations before, during, and after project completion
โ€ข Work directly with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery
โ€ข Lead efforts for billing early and collecting often
โ€ข Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues
โ€ข Develop and maintain strong client and employee relationships
โ€ข Assist leadership in the planning of future labor/material needs of the project
โ€ข Provide consistent reports and updates to senior management
โ€ข Forecast financial direction to course correct as needed
โ€ข Develop project scopes and budgets
โ€ข Manage RFPs and Change Management Forms
โ€ข Mentor subordinates to support their development
Qualifications
REQUIRED
โ€ข 3+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management experience
โ€ข 1+ years building large scale, complex IT/Telecommunications Infrastructure projects, including Data Centers installations
โ€ข Experience with Data Center electrical distribution systems, cabling, and white space fit-out
โ€ข Experience with retrofits in operational facilities and cross-discipline critical facility systems
โ€ข Strong computer skills and quick to learn new systems
โ€ข Ability to work calmly under deadlines and external pressure
โ€ข Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time
โ€ข Commitment to continuous improvement of communication, organization and leadership skills
โ€ข Tactful conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
โ€ข Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.
PREFERRED
โ€ข Mission Critical Project experience
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in a related field (Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, etc.), paired with industry experience OR an overall appropriate combination of certification(s), experience, and education (journeyman or master electrician's license)
โ€ข Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-Scheduling Professional (SP)
โ€ข Experience with Microsoft Office, Coins and ConEst
