Job description

Position: A/V Technician

Compensation: $20 - $25 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled A/V Technician to join their team!

As an A/V Technician, you will play a key role in installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting advanced A/V systems. This opportunity is perfect for those who thrive in hands-on environments and are eager to contribute to innovative projects in a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Install A/V infrastructure items like J Hooks and Cable Cubbies
  • Pull, terminate, and test various cabling types
  • Mount equipment such as projectors and displays
  • Install A/V equipment including conferencing and digital signage
  • Assist with equipment handling and inventory
  • Interpret line and architectural drawings
  • Troubleshoot basic A/V systems
  • Communicate professionally with clients
  • Lead installation and implementation of A/V equipment
  • Ensure all project-related documentation is complete

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of Audio Video installation experience
  • Proficiency in Cable Pulling, Rack Building, System Calibration
  • Experience with Digital Control Systems and IP-enabled Device Integration
  • Knowledge of Videoconferencing Systems
  • Ability to read and use CAD/Blueprints
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License with good Driving Record
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Infocomm Certifications (CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D)
  • Experience with Crestron, BiAmp, Extron systems
  • Other Industry Certifications (DMC-E, RCDD, EST)
