We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Pro AV Salesperson to help expand our client base and drive revenue growth through consultative selling.


Position Summary

The Pro AV Salesperson is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and selling professional AV systems and services. This is a salary-based position with performance-based incentives. The ideal candidate understands AV technology, communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and takes a solution-oriented approach to sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets or territories
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, consultants, and partners
  • Conduct client meetings to assess needs and recommend AV solutions
  • Work closely with design and engineering teams to develop accurate proposals
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and system overviews
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from lead to close
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
  • Represent Mesa Electronics Inc at client meetings, demos, and industry events


Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of sales experience (Pro AV, technology, or IT preferred)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate AV system concepts
  • Organized, self-motivated, and goal-driven
  • Experience using CRM software

Preferred:

  • Pro AV industry experience selling integrated systems
  • Familiarity with conferencing, control, audio, video, and AV networking
