Job description

Build Cutting-Edge Technology Systems

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, safety-focused Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll fabricate, assemble, and test commercial audio, video, lighting, and security systems that power high-profile environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot commercial AV, lighting, and security systems
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
  • Use hand and power tools to fabricate and install components
  • Perform soldering and connector termination (XLR, RJ45, TRS, BNC, F-CONN)
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and processes
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations

✅ What You Bring

  • Experience in AV installation, electronics, or commercial construction
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret AV and construction drawings
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering, and cable termination
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or on a team
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, internet tools)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel (up to 75% of the time, depending on the job projects) and work at heights (ladders/lifts)

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Construction, or related field
  • Certifications in AV technologies (Biamp, Extron, Crestron, AMX, etc.)
  • CTS or CTS-I certification
  • Experience with audio DSP, video processing, or control systems
