Job description

Ford AV is seeking a highly analytical, curious, and persistent Business Development Researcher to fuel our sales pipeline. In this role, youโ€™ll uncover new opportunities, identify key decision-makers, and deliver high-quality, sales-ready leads that directly impact revenue growth.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Identify target companies across industries such as corporate, healthcare, higher ed, government, hospitality, and more
  • Monitor market signals like new construction, expansions, renovations, and bid opportunities
  • Research and verify key decision-makers (IT, Facilities, Procurement, Project Managers)
  • Conduct outbound outreach (cold calls + email campaigns) to validate opportunities
  • Follow up with marketing-generated leads from events, campaigns, and tradeshows
  • Navigate organizations and gatekeepers to reach the right contacts
  • Build detailed lead profiles in CRM with insights, timelines, and opportunity data
  • Qualify and prioritize leads based on project size, urgency, and fit
  • Deliver sales-qualified leads (SQLs) with clear next steps
  • Track industry trends and continuously refine sourcing strategies
