Responsibilities and Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support andย maintainย approximately 10 conference rooms equipped with AV/VTCย technologyย and equipment.ย ย 
  • Perform daily room readiness checks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.ย ย 
  • Verify operation of displays, microphones, cameras, speakers, control panels, andย Crestronย systems.ย ย 
  • Monitor roomย utilizationย and report equipment issues or maintenance needsย to Tier 3.ย ย 
  • Manage conference room scheduling through approved room reservation systems (e.g., Outlook, Exchange, Teams, or agency scheduling platforms).ย ย 
  • Coordinate meeting setup requirements with end users prior to scheduled events.ย ย 
  • Ensure rooms are prepared according to meeting specifications, including seating arrangements, presentation equipment, and video conferencing requirements.ย ย 
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts andย assistย users with room reservations.ย ย 
  • Provide Tier 1 support for AV systems, video conferencing platforms, and collaboration tools.ย ย

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility.ย 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in AV support, help desk support, or conference room technology support.ย ย 
  • Experience supporting video conferencing and collaboration platforms.ย ย 
  • Experience working in a government, corporate, or enterprise environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of:ย ย

Overview

We are seeking a Tier 1 Audio Visual Technician to join our team supporting the Space Development Agency. The Tier 1 Audio Visual (AV) Support Specialist provides first-line technical and set-up support for audiovisual systems, conference room technology, and meeting services within (SDA) Space Development government agency environment. This position is responsible for supporting approximately 10 conference rooms, ensuring meeting spaces are operational, scheduling conference room resources, coordinating meeting setups, and providing immediate troubleshooting assistance for users. The Technician will serves as the primary point of contact for routine AV support requests and escalates complex issues to senior AV engineers or IT support teams as needed.ย
