Job Description
We are a growing IT Services company in the Springfield, IL. Due to high demand, we need to add another staff member to our team to support our small and medium business clients. We function as the provide IT services to companies that are too small to have their own team.
NOTE: This is a full-time position as a member of our staff, with benefits and PTO available (not a contract position).
We are seeking a Systems Engineer / Network Specialist to handle the following:
  • Install and configure computers, networks, peripherals, etc. Set up routers and firewalls. May also include set up of printers, scanners, audio/visual equipment and other related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, networks and other equipment.
  • Monitor and evaluate system and network performance. Make recommendations for changes or upgrades as warranted.
  • As you progress in your role, you may be needed to make proactive suggestions to clients on ways they can utilize technology solutions that will enable their business to be more efficient / profitable. Therefore, persuasive and diplomatic communication skills, including soft-selling techniques, would be helpful.
