Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of Custom Audio Support Representative. This is an in-house position (not remote) at our office located in Glenview, IL. We are a family-owned company that has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation, and servicing all the products we sell. We are a perennial winner of the Chicago Tribune's Top Workplace Award. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible & friendly Custom Audio Support Representative to join our team. If this is you, we want to hear from you!
Primary duties include:
  • Assist customers over the phone with their home electronics service needs
  • Basic troubleshooting & tech support for consumer electronics
  • Process returns & exchanges
  • Create service tickets to document customers' needs & dispatch techs to customers' homes

Job Requirements:
  • Basic operational knowledge of consumer electronics
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to take initiative & make decisions
  • Approachable & outgoing personality
  • Scheduling includes night & weekend hours
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • In-person position
