OVERVIEW
The Level99 Controls Tech Fabricator at our Norwood, MA design and build production facility plays a pivotal role in bringing our interactive game systems to life, building and wiring the control panels that power our world class challenge rooms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Fabricate, wire, and test custom control panels, I/O panels, DMX lighting panels, and audio control systems used in Level99's entertainment challenges
  • Read, interpret, and build from wiring diagrams, schematics, and control system drawings
  • Redline and update wiring diagrams and documentation to reflect as-built conditions
  • Work with designers, engineers, and fabricators to integrate control systems into scenic builds and game environments
  • Support prototyping and iteration of new interactive game systems during development and testing phases
  • Help scale and refine Level99's controls fabrication processes as the company grows
  • Support the broader fabrication team with general shop tasks including assembly, scenic builds, or material prep when control system work is not actively required
  • Prioritize personal and team safety by following OSHA standards and Level99 safety protocols when working with tools, wiring, and energized systems

MUST-HAVE SKILLS
  • 3+ years of hands on experience wiring control panels, I/O panels, lighting systems, or related electrical systems
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and build from wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical drawings
  • Experience terminating and labeling wires, routing cable cleanly, and building organized, serviceable control panels
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to clean, reliable, professional workmanship
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical and signal flow issues
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which may include days, nights, and weekends as well as emergency responsiveness to pressing technical or safety issues as required
  • Able to work ten hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs/ladders
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, manuals, and instructions
  • Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds

OTHER DESIRABLE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE INCLUDE
  • Experience building or maintaining UL listed control panels, or working in a UL certified fabrication environment is a strong plus
  • Past experience as an electrician, controls technician, or industrial electrical technician
  • Experience with DMX lighting systems, audio signal routing, or show control systems
  • Familiarity with low voltage electronics, relays, power supplies, and PLC or microcontroller based systems
  • Experience working with interactive installations, themed entertainment, or live event technology
  • OSHA 10 certification

$25 - $35 an hour
