Job description

Bilingual (Spanish) Sales Engineers

Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments is seeking to hire Bilingual (Spanish) Sales Engineers to add to our growing Sales team!

As a Sales Engineer, you will be a personal consultant for gear. Sales Engineers connect with 3000 to 6000 customers and maintain long term relationships with each customer they connect with. You would be a dedicated one-on-one true expert in music and audio technology to your personal base of customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and continuously foster relationships with customers by making 80-100 outbound phone calls daily
  • Give professional advice on musical instruments and pro audio gear
  • Design sound systems or select gear for churches, schools, recording studios, live venues
  • Educate customers on all categories of gear and a wide variety of topics such as guitar tone and amplification, digital audio recording, MIDI and sound synthesis, drums, live sound and more
  • Follow up on orders or troubleshoot a gear issue in partnership with our Product Support team to provide outstanding customer service
  • Participate in brand office hours and meetings to learn about new products to advise customers

Sweetwater University

Sweetwater University is an immersive, 13-week training process where gearheads become Sweetwater Sales Engineers. Over the course of over 350 classes lead, new hires build an incredible foundation of knowledge about not only gear but also the tools they will need to be successful in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English
  • Self-motivated and empathetic folks with strong people skills
  • Great verbal and written communication chops and strong typing skills
  • Recent graduates of a Music Technology, Audio Production or Music Business program or alumni of these types of programs with several years' experience since graduation
  • Previous experience in music industry sales, or previous experience and hands on training in a recording studio or a live music venue
  • Gear Heads: Those who love talking about the latest technology with others who share their passion
  • Musicians: Those who love performing or writing music seeking a long-term career in the music industry.
