How you'll make an impact:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, Ad Technology to lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives across Ads Engineering. • Define program structure, milestones, interdependencies, and success metrics.
  • Coordinate across multiple engineering teams to ensure cohesive execution across ad-serving systems, data pipelines, and platform services.
  • Lead cross-domain program reviews and executive updates.
Strategic Alignment & Decision Support:
  • Partner with engineering and product leadership to prioritize initiatives based on business impact and technical feasibility.
  • Clearly articulate tradeoffs, risks, and execution options to support fast, informed decision-making.
  • Influence roadmap alignment across Ads, Pandora, and related domains.
Technical Depth & Systems Thinking:
  • Apply strong architectural literacy to evaluate system design implications and cross-team dependencies.
  • Review technical designs, challenge assumptions, and proactively identify downstream impacts.
  • Anticipate long-term platform risks and scalability constraints.
Operational Excellence:
  • Drive improvements in intake, prioritization, and release processes using tools such as Jira.
  • Enhance transparency around delivery status, risks, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Establish scalable program management best practices across Ads Engineering.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Serve as the connective layer between Engineering, Product, Quality, Operations, and external stakeholders.
  • Support launch planning, operational readiness, and post-launch learnings.
  • Provide clear escalation pathways to remove execution blockers quickly.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience leading complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in advertising technology, including familiarity with ad-serving systems, real-time bidding, monetization platforms, data pipelines, and analytics systems.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and large-scale platform architecture.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs with multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience driving delivery across tightly coupled systems with complex interdependencies.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using tooling such as Jira to manage engineering workflows. Experience in digital audio or media platforms.
  • Experience managing vendor or third-party technology integrations.
  • Experience operating in high-availability, real-time systems environments.
  • Exposure to global or multi-region engineering organizations.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary.
