Job description

Audio/Video - Experienced AV Technician/Installer Position Available

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of professional AV smart home experience to be considered. Applications submitted without this required experience will not be reviewed. Experience must be related to the residential industry.

Variable weekday shifts - typically 8-5 M-F

Audio Video Connections, L.L.C. has been in business for 28 years. We specialize in high-quality products and installation. The majority of our clients are in Northeast Oklahoma and include both residential and commercial projects. We are looking to expand our installation team and are seeking qualified applicants.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mounting TVs and installing home theater systems
  • Hooking up and configuring audio/video equipment
  • Installing and troubleshooting network equipment
  • Installing and programming surveillance/security systems
  • Setting up and programming lighting control systems
  • Installing HVAC control and motorized shades
  • Leading and training junior technicians

Required skills:

  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Superior customer service
  • 2+ years of previous AV/Home Automation installation experience.

Preferred skills:

  • Crestron, Control4, RTI, & Network Certifications.
  • Electrical & IT knowledge.

Other requirements:

  • Valid Drivers License
  • No DUI / DWI
  • No Felony Charges
  • Pass background check
  • Be able to lift heavy items (60+ lbs)

This position is not live video or sound production. A normal day would be installing residential or commercial audio, video, automation, and data/Wi-Fi networks. We sometimes work in the heat and cold. Crawling through attics is common. We provide tools and your work vehicle (vehicle does not go home with you). Office location is currently in North Bixby, however, we will be moving to Jenks in the near future.
