Your Opportunity

We are looking for an ICT Designer.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Technical day to day design of Telecommunications, Security and Audio Visual (A/V) construction documents with guidance from senior staff
  • Coordinating and preparing schematic design, design development, and construction documents with emphasis on Technology requirements (Telecom, Security, A/V)
  • Building an expertise with the latest design software (Revit) and BIM modeling
  • Performing site condition surveys
  • Reviewing contractor submittals
  • Routinely supporting multiple design teams (projects) and delivering results, managing your time and contributions effectively to meet varying deadlines
  • Producing quality work using technology and methodologies that create innovative approaches to building design
  • Travel for this position anticipated < 5% for cross-office collaboration and on-site client engagement
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Fundamental understanding of inside-plant (ISP) and outside-plant (OSP) telecommunications design;
  • Thoroughness in design coordination and contract document development;
  • Must be able to work independently and as a member of a multi-office technology systems group;
Education and Experience

Associates degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology program, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering required. 5 yearsโ€™ experience will be considered in lieu of degree;

At least 1 year of experience in the installation and maintenance or design and specification of Technology Systems (Telecom, Security, A/V) preferably supporting projects for clients in such building sectors as government, healthcare, higher education, science & technology;

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
