Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Sales & System Designers to drive sales and deliver an exceptional experience to our customers. Using the best demonstration showroom in the state, our salesmen work with customers to understand their needs and offer the best solution within budget.

We offer products for music, movies, home automation, cameras, and security. Sales are both retail and custom which require installation services. These installation projects require the salesman to have high knowledge of the equipment and software in order to complete a design package used by the installation team.

Our most successful salesmen are great listeners, who value being solid consultants. They have the rare combination of being great with people and also having a high aptitude for technology in the home. Some leads will be provided by our best-in-class web advertising program and showroom visitors but our highest producing salesmen hunt for leads among builders, remodelers, architects, and designers.

Compensation is a modest salary plus commissions.  Less experiences salespersons typically earn $50,000 per year and our more senior sales designers earn over $200,000.

Position Purpose
  • Meet and/or exceeding sales, individual service quality, and team goals
  • Create, maintain and improve customer relationships while interacting with customers on a daily basis during sales and product inquiry transactions.
Position Responsibilities
  • Build audio, video, and home theater solutions that engage customers and drive profitability
  • Drive repeat business by providing excellent service and thorough product knowledge to customers through relationship building and solutions sales.
  • Keep customers informed on the status of their order, reconcile errors in a cost-effective manner, resolve post-order issues such as returns and follow up to ensure all customer needs are fulfilled.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of A/V sales experience
