Job description

Inside Sales Representative — Remote

SIXPAC sells business software and payment processing to small business owners: gyms, martial arts schools, personal trainers, salons and spas, youth sports academies, specialty retail.

You call them. You show them the product. You show them what they are overpaying their current processor. You sign them.

This is a full-cycle phone sales role. You own the account from the first dial through activation. No prior sales experience is required. Training is four weeks and fully paid.

What the job actually is

•   200 outbound dials per day using our CRM and dialer

•   2 demos booked per day, 1 held

•   Run product demos by video and phone

•   Collect processing statements and present the savings analysis

•   Complete merchant applications and shepherd accounts through underwriting to activation

•   Same-day dispositions in the CRM

Read the dial number again. This is a phone job. If you are not going to pick up the phone 200 times a day, this is not the role for you and we will both find out in week two.

How you get paid

•   $45,000 – $90,000 per year. Base is a $500 weekly guarantee, or your state's minimum wage for hours worked, whichever is greater. Every week you receive the greater of your commissions or the guarantee. It is not a draw and it is never clawed back.

•   Commissions paid every Tuesday for the prior week

•   Signing commissions, volume commissions and monthly activation bonuses

•   Fast Start Bonus — every qualified demo you run in your first 90 days pays cash on top of everything else, with weekly bonus tiers

•   Residuals — you earn a monthly residual on every merchant you sign, for as long as that account stays active and you are with SIXPAC. Residual tiers are grandfathered, so your rate climbs as your book grows.

Most sales jobs reset every January. This one compounds. The accounts you sign in month three are still paying you in year three.

Schedule

First 90 days: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mountain Time — that is 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central — with a one-hour lunch. A fixed schedule during ramp keeps you in training and call reviews.

After 90 days: your 8 hours become flexible, as long as your calling hits businesses during their open hours.

Remote requirements

100% remote, no office. We supply the software, phone system and CRM. You supply:

•   A quiet, dedicated place to work with no background noise during calling hours

•   A computer that runs our CRM and video conferencing

•   A quality headset with a microphone

•   Reliable high-speed internet

Merchants can hear your environment. Barking dogs and dropped calls cost deals.

What we are looking for

•   Clear, confident communication on the phone

•   Coachable and competitive

•   Organized enough to manage your own pipeline

•   Reliable without someone watching you

•   Professional with business owners, and able to take an objection without getting defensive

No degree required. No sales background required. We train.

Benefits

•   Medical — SIXPAC pays 50% of the employee premium

•   Dental and vision available

•   Six paid holidays

•   Paid time off and sick days, increasing with years of service

Where you need to live

We are currently hiring in Utah, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and Wisconsin only. If you live outside those five states we cannot consider you for this role right now.
